I'd like to switch from HomeKit firmware to ESPHome firmware but can't find it.
There doesn't seem to be any support page or readme or anything that I can go to and find all the firmware for all the devices. The closest I can find is https://github.com/athom-tech/athom-configs which doesn't have the LS-5P as a yaml file, doesn't mention what any of these files do, does have two releases of firmware files, but those firmware files come with neither description nor change log.
I would really like to support myself here through a prepared document. Are these the correct steps?
Upgrade the "ESP8266_MINI.bin" firmware first from https://github.com/athom-tech/athom-configs per https://www.athom.tech/forum/esphome-related-1/socket-dead-after-upgrade-from-homekit-to-esphome
Upgrade the ESPHome firmware from ??
Do ?? with the .yaml file that doesn't seem to exist for my product

Switching to WLED worked
Just a thought, I just changed mine over from homekit to wled which works great. I went to the IP of the current firmware and under firmware upgrade I installed this. It does wipe and takes it off the wifi, but you connect to the AP wled generates and then put in your wifi info and voila. https://github.com/athom-tech/WLED/releases/download/0.14.0-b1/Athom_5Pin_RGBW.bin.gz
