I put channels 1-3 to our house incomping phases.
I have been monitoring about two hours, and current readings are sensibles (I have own made esp32 reader with clamps in same wires what to compare) .
but athoms power readings are crap, example
current_1 3,2A
current_2 1,5A
current_3 2.2A
Power_1 206W
Power_2 27W (this havent increase at all, it was even negative sometime but I rotated clamp)
Power_3 474W
clamps are now phase 1 is different way than phase2 and 3 so these dont show so much negative.
I use newest esphome 2024.12.2
I will this device one day change to measure, but after this couple hours I think I will put to ser.. edit: voltage reading is 229,5- 230,8 V, and that power_2 changes a bit but not over 100W, and when calculating powers with current and voltage nothing of those arent correct
here are almost all, I found this from forum: "https://www.athom.tech/forum/main/comment/3d283dad-47ba-47ee-b366-937f8b376581?postId=66eadb6133a491001181ad05"
so did I under stand correct that it cannot measure different phase (we have three phase electricity). ?
if not then this device is useless for me... or is it possible to make config to use that single voltage for all channels ?
Please send a screenshot of the complete measurement data, and a photo of the CT caliper
I made some test, I put one clamp to bathroom floorheating (about 800W) it counts right. then I move this clamp to same (CT2) phase 2 that shows those 20-80W readings, it shows same readings that phase2. I also move that clamp and CT2 channel to that floorheating wire. it shows about 800W like it should.
also those "instructions" are poor. there is clamps red wire on S1 but in here https://www.athom.tech/blank-1/6-ch-energy-meter-made-for-esphome red is in S2. that show just negative power values. so I just switched those around.
in athoms web gui, it logs quite often: Component bl0906.sensor took a long time for an operation (53 ms).
Components should block for at most 30 ms.
