12W bulb not respect boot preset

I recently got a pair of 12W WLED bulbs. I’m able to successfully connect them to my WiFi and change the light settings, create presets, switch between presets, and configure a preset to apply at boot. When ever I turn the light back on, however, the preset applies for a few seconds before changing to an orange dim color. This happens with both bulbs, even after resetting them and reflashing the latest firmware. I can reapply my preset and it will stay, but it is annoying to have to set it each time. Does anybody have any ideas how to keep my “apply on boot” from changing?
