Product Overview
This UK-standard ESPHome energy monitoring plug is designed for continuous power monitoring without interrupting the connected appliance.
It uses an ESP8285 WiFi chip and an HLW8032 energy measurement chip to monitor voltage, current, power and energy consumption. The relay-free design keeps the connected device powered at all times, making it ideal for equipment that must remain online.

Advantages of the Relay-Free Design
Continuous Power Supply
The connected appliance remains powered continuously while its energy consumption is monitored. The plug does not switch the power off or on.
Prevents Accidental Shutdown
Without a relay, the plug cannot accidentally disconnect the appliance because of an automation rule, WiFi reconnection or software command. This is useful for routers, NAS systems, CCTV equipment and other always-on devices.
Reliable Long-Term Monitoring
A relay-free design eliminates mechanical switching contacts, making the product suitable for continuous operation and long-term monitoring applications.
Silent Operation
There is no relay click during startup, WiFi connection or data communication. The plug operates quietly in bedrooms, offices and other quiet environments.
Designed for Home Assistant
With ESPHome firmware, the plug can be integrated into Home Assistant for monitoring and automation dashboards, provided the appropriate ESPHome configuration is used.
Important Note
This is the relay-free energy monitoring version.
It does not support remote power switching and cannot turn the connected appliance on or off. The connected appliance receives continuous power whenever the plug is connected to a live wall outlet.
Please choose a relay-equipped version if you require remote power control.
